Privacy Policy

Rouba Kiprianos ("we," "us," or "our") operates the MathMind mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

MathMind is designed as a privacy-first application. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of the following on our servers:

• Your name, email, or any account information (we do not offer accounts)
• Your device identifiers, IP address, or location
• Your usage patterns, session duration, or in-app behavior
• Crash reports or diagnostics
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID)

We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, social login providers, or any third-party tracking services.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following information only on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage (AsyncStorage):

• Learning progress — which tricks you have viewed and practiced
• Practice statistics — attempts, correct answers, streaks, solve times
• Challenge scores — your personal best challenge results
• Daily challenge records — which daily challenges you have completed
• App settings — your preferences for haptics, notifications, timer behavior
• Purchase state — whether you have unlocked MathMind Pro on this device

This data never leaves your device. It is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App or tap "Reset All Data" in the Stats tab.

3. Notifications

With your permission, the App schedules a local daily reminder notification at 9:00 AM to encourage consistent practice. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely by your device. We do not send push notifications from our servers and do not know whether you have notifications enabled.

You can disable these reminders at any time in the Stats tab under Settings, or in your device's system notification settings.

4. In-App Purchases

MathMind offers an optional one-time purchase ("MathMind Pro") to unlock all mental math tricks. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store.

• We do not receive or store your payment information
• Your purchase receipt is handled by Apple's StoreKit and, if you restore purchases, by RevenueCat (our in-app purchase infrastructure provider) solely to verify entitlement
• RevenueCat may process an anonymous subscriber identifier to validate your purchase — please see RevenueCat's privacy policy

We do not have the ability to see your real identity, credit card, or billing address.

5. Children's Privacy

MathMind is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because we do not collect any personal data, the App is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as it applies to minors.

Parents: you can confidently let children use MathMind without any data being collected about them.

6. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA)

Because we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is no data for us to access, export, or delete. Your rights under GDPR and similar regulations are fully protected by design:

• Right to access: all your data is on your device and visible in the App
• Right to deletion: uninstall the App or tap "Reset All Data"
• Right to portability: not applicable (no data held by us)
• Right to object: disable notifications in Settings

7. Third-Party Services

MathMind uses the following third-party services. None of them receive personal data about you:

• Apple App Store & StoreKit — for distribution and in-app purchases (governed by Apple's privacy policy)
• RevenueCat — for purchase verification (privacy policy)
• Expo Push Notifications — not used; all notifications are local

8. Data Security

Because we do not transmit or store your data, there is no server-side data security concern. On-device data is protected by your device's standard security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and the iOS sandbox).

9. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this Policy and change the "Last Updated" date at the top. If changes are material (for example, introducing any form of data collection), we will notify you via an in-app notice before the change takes effect.
